Here it'll just be me the webmaster (Rebecca) sharing gems of information such as what I've won in my comping endeavours, why I comp, why all this information is free and some shameless plugging of my other web-based tomfoolery!
So what have I won?
Well I've won mobile phones, cash, vouchers, cd's, dvds, cinema tickets, a Playstation 2, computer games, cosmetics, clothes, food, toys, a piece of art, computer equipment, sports equipment, mp3 players, signed pictures, kitchen appliances and books!
Quite a list! All these prizes are out there ready and waiting to be won. If you follow my tips on this site they will be arriving at your door in no time!
Why do I comp?
Well if the long list of prizes above isn't enough of a reason I don't know what is! The added attraction of comping is hoping to one day win the big prize, like a car or even a house! It certainly makes opening the post alot more interesting - a winning cheque is alot better than another bill! Its also a hobby that you can start and stop according to time allowances. I used to get alot of comping done in my lunch hour - always make sure you have permission to use the web at work though! If not you could take a list of offline competitions and postcards a fill them in during your break.
Why is all this information free?
Well when I first started comping I used to pay for lists of competitions. When I found the information freely available elsewhere I felt cheated and annoyed that people were charging for these details.
I decided to set up some sites where the information was free. Hence www.howtowin.co.uk and Cheap-Postcards.co.uk were born.Each week I update the postal competition page with between 60 - 80 competitions. The information takes me a while to gather each week, but its worth it when you have a win! It certainly keeps me out of mischief!
