Entering Phone (Landline) Competitions

Phone Competitions

Entering competitions via your mobile phone or landline is increasingly popular with competition promoters. They are quick and easy to enter, but do bear in mind they nearly always cost more than the price of a stamp.

Promoters are using phone in competitions to earn money whilst giving away a prize. Always bear this in mind when entering. You don't want a nasty surprise when your phone bill arrives.

Top Tip: Always check the cost before entering. Some calls may cost you as much as £2 or £3! To enter a competition using your landline phone you normally need to leave a voice message including your answer and then your details.

Top Tip: Make sure you note down the phone number carefully if not you may not get entered into the competition and still be charged for the calls!

Phone In competitions are cropping up everywhere. They seem to be most popular on Television & Radio, but often appear in magazines & newspapers.

Top Tip: If possible keep your landline phone near you when you're watching TV so you can be ready to enter any competitions.

If your phone isn't near a TV, note down the necessary details and remember to enter before the closing date.
