Radio Phone-In & Text Competitions
Most of us listen to the radio at some point during the day.
You may even have heard people winning prizes by phoning in and answering questions?
These normally have fewer entries and the questions are often very simple.
The best advice for taking part in radio station competitions is be prepared!Most competitions are plugged for at least a week or so in advance - especially if its a big prize.
Take down all the necessary information - if possible visit the stations website.Top Tip: Put the competition number into the speed dial section of your phone.
I've listed a couple of radio stations below including their websites and the frequency to tune in to.These stations have competitions you can enter from home.

Top Tip: If you're up early or late tune in to the radio for competitions. There will be more chance of winning when less people are listening.
Top Tip: Keep your phone or a pen & paper nearby for any unexpected competition details.Top Tip: Unless entering via Text message don't be tempted to use your mobile to phone premium rate numbers - it'll cost a fortune!
Top Tip: Remember to note down when the winner will be announced or contacted. The station may call you live on air to tell you that you've won. If you're not in the prize may be given to someone else!
